Congratulations to Guglielmo Winery for two of their Private Reserve wines which were awarded Gold Medals in two very prestigious wine competitions! 

Their Private Reserve Barbera, 2012, Santa Clara Valley, took the Gold at the Sunset International Wine Competition last month. This competition, sponsored by Sunset Magazine, judges over 4,000 wines from all over the country.  Over 50 judges taste and evaluate these wines.  The Barbera will be featured in the October, 2015 issue of Sunset, and is currently for sale in their Tasting Room for $25.00

Then, just last week, they were awarded a Gold Medal for their Private Reserve Petite Sirah, 2012, Estate Grown, Santa Clara Valley, in the Orange County Commercial Wine Competition. This competition only judges wines that are commercially produced in California.  This wine will be featured at the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa in August, and is available now in their Tasting Room for $25.00.    (6/2015)
